FLETCHER STUDENT TAKES GOLD AT SKILLS USA LOUISIANA COMPETITION

Schriever, LA – Fletcher Technical Community College proudly announces Michael Plaisance, an electrical student, earned a gold medal in Electrical competition at SkillsUSA Louisiana in Lake Charles, Louisiana April 19-20, 2018. Michael is currently in his second semester in electrical program at Fletcher. He will compete at the 54th Annual National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky this June representing Louisiana in electrical competition.

The College sent five students to the competition. Of the five students, two were in Allied Health, Carisa Jackson and Alyssa Trahan, one was in Welding, Kody Pederson, and two were in electrical, Jeremiah LaBouve and Michael Plaisance. Fletcher would like to thank all students who participated in this year competition.
