CMT EMPOWERING EDUCATION FREE CONCERT AT  FLETCHER TECHNICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Schriever, LA – Fletcher Technical Community College hosted a CMT Empowering Education Free Concert featuring Louisiana’s own Courtney Cole from Mandeville. This free concert was one of eight in the CMT Empowering Education tour. The concert was Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the atrium at Fletcher’s main campus. Prior to the concert, the College hosted a Community Resource Fair at 5:30 pm to provide information about the College, resources, and continuing education opportunities. The event had over 120 attendees and one lucky person, Jessica Blanchard, won a Fletcher Scholarship by entering her name in a raffle. Other prizes were given out to attendees for answering Fletcher’s trivia questions correctly.

The concert started with a four student panel, Shardel Walker, Kayla Metrejean, Richard “Ricky” Johnson, and Cedric Brown, Jr. and the moderator was Lucia Folk, Vice President of Public Affairs with CMT.
