PHILLIPS 66 DONATES TO FLETCHER TECHNICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE’S
INTEGRATED PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES PROGRAM
Schriever, LA – Phillips 66 donates $10,400 to Fletcher Technical Community College’s Integrated Production Technologies (IPT) Program. This donation will help the IPT program with purchasing 20 multimeters, 10 analog and 10 fluke multimeters to assist student in reading and understanding the different meters as they prepare for jobs in the oil and gas industry. These meters will be of great assistance to the students currently in the IPT program and the future students in the Electrical and Instrumentation programs that the College plans to start in 2018.

Business and industry’s continued commitment to educating and training the future workforce of Louisiana is vital to our future. About the IPT Program- The program provides specialized academic and hands-on training to prepare students for careers in the oil and natural gas production industry. It has been designated as the Louisiana Deepwater Center for Workforce Excellence and is equipped with a $1 million, state-of-the art lab. With technology advances in deepwater oil and natural gas production, many operators are currently requiring that new employees possess a certificate or degree in a related curriculum.
