FLETCHER TECHNICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE HIRES A NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE FLETCHER FOUNDATION
Schriever, LA – Dr. Kristine Strickland, Chancellor of Fletcher Technical Community College announces the hire of a new executive director for the Fletcher Foundation, W. Chandler LeBoeuf.
Mr. LeBoeuf has worked within the Louisiana Community and Technical College System before serving time at both South Louisiana Community College in Student Engagement and Alumni Relations as well as Delgado Community College in Student Life. Prior to that, Chandler worked in admissions, recruitment, and financial aid for a for-profit institution. He has experience in enrollment management, student life, and institutional advancement. Most recently, Chandler comes with a background in both higher education and K-12 with an emphasis on sales, marketing, operations and online learning while working for The Princeton Review.
Mr. LeBoeuf born and raised in southwest corner of Louisiana in a small town known as Grand Ghenier which is located in Cameron Parish. He is a first generation college student and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University and his Master of Education degree from Northeastern University. He is currently working on a Doctor of Education degree with a focus on higher education administration from Northeastern University. Chandler
“I feel passionate about helping students, alumni, and the community. I give tremendous amounts of credit to my academic institutions for helping me to grow academically and now it is my turn to help others to succeed inside and outside of the classroom. I plan to do this by incorporating my personal mission and combining it with the mission and vision that Fletcher leads with. My goal is to work with community leaders in the region, business and industry partners, alumni, and the team of faculty, staff and administration at Fletcher to assist in moving Fletcher into the next phase of growth,” stated Mr. LeBoeuf.
“Fletcher has a great team of faculty and staff and also fosters a community of learning for the students which provides strong academic and workforce programs that are serving as pathways for students to reach their dreams, careers, and goals. With all of these great things happening at Fletcher and continuing to happen in the future, I knew without hesitation that I wanted to be a part of the Fletcher family,” continued Mr. LeBoeuf.
Chandler was a 2014 distinguished recent alumni from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. He also serves as past president for Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University Alumni Association and is also very active in many local non-profits in the Greater New Orleans area. When Chandler is not leading or serving, he can be found traveling the world.
