The award is given to a library in the LOUIS system that demonstrates excellence in at least one of the following areas: service to their community; creativity and innovation in developing specific community programs or a dramatic increase in library usage; leadership in creating programs that can be emulated by other libraries
Fletcher’s Chancellor, Dr. Kristine Strickland, commented, “I would like to congratulate our library staff on this recognition. The Fletcher library team works diligently every day to provide quality academic resources to our students. Their efforts in reducing the cost of textbooks to students is just one of many accomplishments for which they are being recognized. It is through their efforts that Fletcher continues to provide a quality and affordable education to our community.”
