Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response  (HAZWOPER) Technician Level Training

Objective: The HAZWOPER Technician Level Training is designed to equip participants with advanced knowledge, specialized skills, and hands-on training required for responding to hazardous materials incidents involving the highest level of risk, including those requiring specialized equipment and techniques.

Summary: This intensive course focuses on training individuals to become proficient in managing and responding to hazardous materials incidents at the technician level. Participants will learn advanced hazard assessment, specialized equipment operation, decontamination procedures, and incident command through both theoretical learning and extensive practical exercises.

Duration:

  • Course Duration: 40hrs

  • Schedule: Offered as full-day sessions or segmented sessions to cover specialized content comprehensively.

Regulation Reference: including but not limited to:

  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations for hazardous waste operations and emergency response (29 CFR 1910.120).
