ENERGY Production Technologies
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This Associate of Applied Science degree program provides specialized academic and technical skills to prepare students for a career as a production operator in oil and gas production or related industries. Students will learn how to read process diagrams, assemble and operate mechanical equipment, understand and operate electrical equipment and instrumentation, study fluid mechanics, and study deepwater systems and technology. In addition to an associate degree, the program offers lower credit-hour certificates for students who may not need the full program to retool for gainful employment.
The knowledge students learn in Fletcher’s Energy Production Technologies program can be a gateway to future high-demand, high-wage jobs on deepwater production platforms as well as in related industries like:
